Do’-gah by Greg Staats: Piece Hanging and Recitation – Soundings

On July 12, 2025, 516 ARTS held an opening reception for “Soundings: An Exhibition in Five Parts”. To complete the exhibition installation process, we publicly mounted the final piece, Do’-gah by Greg Staats, followed by a poetry recitation by our staff curator Olivia Amaya Ortiz. The guest curator of the exhibition, Candice Hopkins, also provided opening remarks to officially open “Soundings: An Exhibition in Five Parts” to the public.
